The act of drinking sake is a sacred ritual best shared with a loved one. This ceramic sake set of 1 sake carafe and 3 sake cups is finished with a rare version of my seashell glaze.
This seashell glaze recipe paints a gorgeous canvas of white to gray hues, with flashes of blue and green sometimes streaking across the surface. It is an ash glaze, with the ash being sourced from trees right here in the Pacific Northwest forests.
The Blue-Sky edition of the glaze used for this sake set is made up of a unique set of trees’ ashes and is very rare and hard to duplicate. This sake set is finished slowly and carefully in a high fire, helping to bring out the most beautiful shades of light blue.
