These 15 Minute Air Fryer Recipes Will Change Your Life

Now as many of you already know, I started off a few years ago as a bit of an air fryer skeptic and I’ve since turned into an air fryer evangelist. You might be wondering why I like this one appliance so much in a kitchen full of options to cook your food… Well, today I’m here to answer that exact question by showing you four unique recipes that utilize the air fryer and will help you transform your workflow in the kitchen so you can produce 15 minute meals with ease, efficiency, and speed all week long. Click here for the full video!

Steak & Mushroom Sandwich 

Ingredients:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of chuck steak
  • 1 lb of mixed mushrooms
  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1 cup of tahini
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Some cracked pepper & salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup of sprouts
  • Lemon to taste

Instruction:

  1. Preheat your air fryer at 400 F. for 5 minutes.
  2. Cut your steak & mushrooms into 1 inch cubes. Hit it with a generous amount of oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Toss into the air fryer and fry at 400F for 8 minutes.
  4. Next, add 1 can of chickpeas, tahini, 1/2 lemon, 1 garlic clove, and some pepper to a food processor. Add extra chickpea liquid to thin out and salt to taste.
  5. Take your steak out and add in 1 piece of toast. Rub the toast in the steak juices and air fry for 380F for 3 minutes.
  6. In the meantime, slice up the steak.
  7. Take the bread out and assemble your sandwich with hummus, steak, brussels sprouts, goat cheese, sprouts, and a little more lemon.

 Crispy Orange Tofu & Veggies 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of firm tofu
  • 2 cup of Brussel sprouts
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 tablespoons or rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Instruction:

  1. Preheat your air fryer at 400 F. for 5 minutes.
  2. Start by draining the excess liquid. Pat dry it and cut into bite sized cubes.
  3. Chop off the stem and wilted or rotten layers. Chop any of the larger brussel sprouts and keep the smaller ones whole.
  4. Toss the cubed up tofu & Brussel sprouts with neutral oil, salt and pepper. Toss into the air fryer and fry at 390 for 11 minutes.
  5. Next, get a pan on medium heat and squeeze in the oranges, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, orange zest, chili flakes, and cornstarch. Whisk until you get a nice and thick sauce.
  6. Toss out your crispy tofu and sprouts into the sauce. Serve over some white rice and enjoy!

Fish Tacos w. Roasted Salsa 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of halibut or flakey white fish
  • salt & spice mix to coat
  • 1 jalapeños
  • 1 large banana peppers
  • 1/4 of an onion.
  • 1 garlic clove
  • handful of cilantro
  • 1/2 juice of lime
  • 2 tablespoons of full fat yogurt
  • 2 -3 corn tortillas

Instruction:

  1. Preheat your air fryer at 400 F. for 5 minutes.
  2. Coat the white fish with salt and your favorite spice mix. Air-fry the fish, peppers, and onion at 400F for 8 minutes.
  3. Next, to a food processor add in 1 garlic clove, handful of cilantro, 1/2 juice of lime, and salt. Then add in the air fried peppers and onion, blend until smooth. Taste the salsa and adjust your seasonings. Add some some yogurt and set aside.
  4. In the meantime, air fry the tortillas at 380 F for 3 minutes.
  5. Serve the tacos with salsa, fish, avocado, & sauerkraut. Enjoy!

Mystery Leftover Special 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of left over rice
  • Leftover mushroom
  • Leftover steak
  • Roasted pepper salsa
  • 1/4 cup of adobo sauce
  • 1/2 cup of Monterey cheese
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 garlic
  • Handful of cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instruction:

  1. Preheat your air fryer at 400 F. for 5 minutes.
  2. Finely chop up the mushroom and steak. Then add in the rice, salsa, and adobo sauce.
  3. Stuff the filling into 5 tortillas and roll up.Place into the air fryer and shred over some Monterey cheese. Air fry for 380 F for 8 minutes.
  4. To a food processor, add in an avocado, yogurt, cilantro, 1 garlic, cilantro, juice of lime, oil, salt, bit of water.
  5. Once the enchiladas are done, top with the avocado cream and enjoy!

    Wait — the steak is supposed to be cut into one-inch cubes with the mushrooms, then you fry it, then you slice it? Maybe you slice it or cut it some other way to speed the cooking and then cut it into something else? I might be missing something, but it doesn’t seem to make sense.
