My moss glaze recipe is a wood ash glaze and boosts a canvas of earthy, forest-like tones, ranging from shades of green, white-gray, to golden orange hues. I source the ash used in this glaze locally from forests here in the Pacific Northwest.
The ever-changing earth tones dripping down the cup invoke feelings of renewal and harmony. Every single tree on this earth’s ash will produce a different glaze, all depending upon what that tree was fed from the soil in its lifetime.
All of my handmade ceramics are one of a kind, with intricate details that make each piece a unique work of art. This moss glaze sake set will have a special, unique canvas of color tones. They may range from a shiny finish to a matte look.
