My moss glaze recipe is a wood ash glaze, and boosts a canvas of earthy, forest-like tones, ranging from shades of green, white-gray, to golden orange hues.
The ash is locally sourced from forests around the Pacific Northwest. When the scent of hot tea rises from this enchanting moss glaze, you will feel as though you have landed in the Cascade forest on a rainy Spring morning, with water from the surrounding fir trees onto the moss covered rocks below.
All of my handmade ceramics are one of a kind, with intricate details that make each piece a unique work of art. This moss glaze teapot and tea set will have a special, unique canvas of color tones, and may range from a shiny finish to a matte look.
